Course Overview

ERCP is a technically challenging therapeutic procedure. This course will focus on the relevant pancreaticobiliary anatomy and physiology, the devices used during the procedure, and the teamwork necessary for successful performance of ERCP, complementing didactic instruction with hands-on practice.

Purpose Statement

This formal educational activity has been developed in response to GI Nurses and Associates who have expressed a need to increase their knowledge on the basics of Endoscopic Ultrasound as well as therapeutic modalities. Attendees will be given up-to-date information that may help to improve unit operations and patient care.

  • Review relevant Pancreaticobiliary Anatomy and Physiology
  • Discuss clinical indications for ERCP
  • Discuss management of Pancreaticobiliary stones and strictures
  • Discuss the technical aspects of the ERCP procedure

Hands On Stations

Hands-on ERCP Training Stations Hands-on training will be provided with a number of stations that include ERCP systems and guidewires; Cannulae, Sphinctertomes, Extraction Balloons, Stone Retrieval Baskets, Mechanical Lithotriptors, Stent Introducers, Biliary Stents, and Biliary Dilation Balloons.

Registration Fee

$275 per person* (Same Facility Discount: $250.00 per person)
* To confirm your attendance and contact hour registration, payment is due upon the completion and submission of the electronic registration form. Failure to pay may result in forfeit of contact hours. Unpaid fees will be recorded and reported to the appropriate accreditation board.

Cancellation Policy

Registered participants for Olympus University courses must provide us with their cancellation notice five business days prior to the program date. “No-Show” registrations will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee for their catering/meeting expenses. This policy includes Olympus Full/ Value-Added Service Contract customers. A course registration can be transferred within a facility at anytime.
